Spiffy Shower Spray

Daily shower spray is a great way to keep the shower fresh and clean between scrubs.  The nuisance is the high price of the spray.  After shelling out what felt like far too much for a bottle of daily shower cleaner, I began a search for recipes to make my own daily shower cleaning spray.

Fortunately, there are a myriad of recipes that offer daily cleaning plus savings.  The recipe that I found worked best is:
-2 cups rubbing alcohol
-1 cup concentrated (I used Pine-Sol)
Pour into a gallon container, fill with water and shake to mix.

I was worried the Pine-Sol would make the bathroom smell a bit too institutional or school cafeteria; however, the mixture smells fresh, and the spray keeps the shower clean and free of scum and mildew.

The Sheet Solution

Do hide your face in shame when someone has to open your linen closet?  Linen closets can be an unruly mess with a collection of mismatched sheets, pillow cases, blankets, and towels.  The frustration of looking for coordinating sheets and pillow cases can reach a fever pitch whilst rummaging through leaning towers of jumbled linens.  Girl Friday Agency offers you a simple way to achieve linen closet harmony.

Warning: this tip is so simple you will be astounded that you have not thought of it before!  After folding clean sheets (matched set of fitted, top sheet and pillow case), stuff set into one of the pillow cases.  That's it.  Now you can neatly stack pillow case-wrapped sets of matching sheets--and never have to go prospecting for matching bed linens.
