New Year, Same Old Resolution?
New Year resolutions to get healthy are a dime a dozen. The reason healthful resolutions are so common is because a large portion of the authors of the goal fail in their attempts, therefore give it a go next year. Thus, engaging in a goal making-goal breaking cycle.
The process to become healthy is not new, in fact most of us are familiar with the basic framework to make positive changes. Eating healthier foods and working out more are typical tools employed by the resolution makers. These are excellent weapons against unhealthy habits, however a component that will increase success rates is accountability. The Never Ending Chore: Laundry
There is one household duty that never seems complete. It's that ever changing pile of laundry. From hamper to washer, next comes the dryer, then into a hamper again to await folding--this can be a frustratingly continual cycle. In order to make this job a bit less of a headache try saving some cash whilst washing. Girl Friday Agency offers some neat and fresh laundry money saving tips.
-Wash in cold water, save the hot washes for white towels, socks, and underwear
-Use a shorter wash cycle, set your washer for 'light' or 'moderate' dirt levels and save 'normal' or 'heavy' for the super filthy
-Hang your clothes to dry, try placing clothing into the dryer for 15 minutes to fluff and then remove the still wet clothes to hang dry
