Girl Friday Agency's tip for today: how to donate your unwanted eyeglasses.  Eyeglasses of all shapes, sizes, and prescriptions can be donated to someone who cannot afford lenses.  

Instead of tossing your glasses, mail your lenses to New Eyes for the Needy.  This noble organization provides eyeglasses for adults and children in the U.S. and internationally.

Or if you prefer, you can drop off your old glasses at your local LensCrafters or Target Optical locations.  Plus, you can select an optometrist who collects glasses for One Site, another organization that donates uses eyeglasses to those in need.
